Graphic Artist
Thank you for visiting the website. It shows my recent drawings. I primarily work with pencil on paper, but sometimes use other mediums as well (paint on canvas, airbrush, digital, etc.).
I like to draw grids, sharp shadows, lines, patterns, to follow no rules for color use.
I gradually restarted drawing and painting about 10 years ago, after not doing it for 16 years. I studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts in the late twentieth century.
Awards/Exhibitions
- Winner of Hahnenkam Races 84. poster contest (2023, Kiztbuehel, Austria)
- 1st prize winner of student architectural sketching (Klausur) contest (1997, Organised by Georgian Union of Architects, Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts and Tbilisi Polytechnic University)
- Selected piece of work was aired at 'Saatchi Screen' (2016, Saatchi Gallery, London, UK)
- A few works were shortlisted at various international illustration/art contests.
